Conferences & Events
Conferences and events attended as part of the EU-iBCI consortium.

The Brain and the Chip 2026 – UMH
The conference will be attended by members of Chalmers University, KU Leuven, MHU, FAU, TU Munich, Newcastle University and Netherlands Institute for Neuroscience.
FENS Forum 2026
Peter Janssen co-chaired the conference. Attended by Michela Cattabriga. This was a conference on brain-machine interface control during unconstrained navigation in head-restrained macaques was held. A workshop on the neuroethology of nonhuman primates was also part of the conference.

AREADNE 2026
Attended by Peter Janssen and Ophelie Saussus. At AREADNE 2026 in Milos (Greece), the research 'Neural innovation reveals task-dependent (mis)alignment between neural intent and shared-control policies in iBCI navigation' was presented and included in the conference proceedings.
Neural Control of Movement (NCM) 2026
Attended by Janssen Peter, Alessia Sepe, Ophelie Saussus and members of Chalmers University A conference about distinct premotor and motor cortical population dynamics supporting adaptive control in brain-machine interfaces in nonhuman primates. Also research on how shared-control modulates iBCI innovation dynamics was presented as a poster.
